Slag processing

Slag from waste incineration plants contains significant amounts of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is of great economic and environmental importance to recycle that waste. The recovered materials are resupplied into the economic lifecycle.
In collaboration with leading companies in the field of processing technology, a mobile slag processing plant has been developed, by which ferrous and non-ferrous metals are efficiently recovered.
With the help of crushing, screening, magnetic- and non-ferrous separators, is through the multiple process levels next to scrap iron and aluminum, also possible to separate copper, brass and similar valuable metals.

In our plant is depending on the state of the discontinued material, possible to treat up to 1200 t of slag daily.

Thereby the amount of the recovered metal can vary widely and depends on the composition of the combustion residues. According to our experience the metal content situates in the range of 5 - 10%.

Due to the rising prices of raw materials, the processing of the ashes is an absolute essential from the economic view alone. In addition to the recovery of metals from recycling, a valuable landfill space can be saved.

The costs of the processing are usually much lower than the sum of the metal proceeds and landfilling cost savings, whereby the treatment is solely justified for financial reasons.

Another important reason for the use of our mobile slag processing plant is the environmental significance of metal recycling. In comparison of primary production to the metal recycling, depending on the type of metal, up to 95% of energy and 85% of Co ⊃2; emissions can be saved.

This protects our natural resources and generates a positive effect on the climate.
